I love games that don't REQUIRE you to play multiple times to earn the platinum. HZD is definitely in my top 10 fave platinums...

Adam! The remaster came out with trophies and more importantly easter eggs, new secret content and a speedrun mode! I’m trying to play this as blind as possible and suggest you do too You’ll absolutely love it 😊

Everybody has that one game that frustrates them and is beloved by everyone else except them. For me, its Bioshock Infinite. Columbia was nowhere near as interesting as Rapture nor was the gameplay and the removal of survival horror elements was a bad decision but thats besides the point. This is a good episode because its authentic and shows some journeys are not always about the victories.

I know this is late but your story telling is amazing would love to listen to you on a podcast. I feel platinums show are imperfections so frustrating that you got glitched out of the god of war plat.

Adam I have been a fan from you since a few years back and been completely honest I am devastaded at it as well as you. It is not fair to enda for you like this, in some ways you have been a gaming role model for myself without you I haven't even attempt to go for hard platinums. I know it sucks right now, but maybe in the future you can make a redemption bonus episode of the platinum on this game. I just do not accept that one person that motivates me ends like this, if I have to motivate you to end it in the future I will. You are my hero man!

"Shut Up, Atreus!" was pretty much my mantra while playing Ragnarok, and I wasn't even trying for the Platinum. As far as I'm concerned you earned it and the game cheated you out of it. It's 100% BS and I don't blame you for noping out. Here's to the next one.

I agree with you saying that every journey is different. Not just when it comes to platinum hunting but life in general. Sometimes we have to let go of thing we want the most in order to grow.

I like the remake and I've played the original alot but some small changes r a bit annoying but I like the knife play in the remake they both have pros and cons

I just wanted to comment and say this has to be one of my favorite videos on UA-cam. Its oddly inspiring for me and made me seek out the platinum for mgs 4 myself which I achieved! This video perfectly shows how fun draining and miserable at times this trophy is to get along with having to do an extra playthrough because of human error (i also had to 😅) This is my favorite Metal Gear Solid which may be an unpopular opinion, but my love for this game, its story characters, and gameplay will stick with me for years to come. Thank you, Adam!

The only thing that prevents me from trying to Platinum this is the abysmal sniper controls. It doesn't account for the zoom. It is one speed only.

Gutted for you with this one Adam. Don't blame you for not playing through again. As you've said you may end up hating it if you play anymore. Hopefully after giving it some time you'll want to go back to it (or maybe not 😂). The maze in the first one where you have to collect those Anchor of fogs (or whatever they're called 😅) almost broke me, so tedious. The maps in these games are abysmal. If developers insist on collectibles then they should be made as easy as possible. On another topic, knowing your love of Beyond good and evil, with the anniversary out now that contains a platinum, is there a chance that will sneaking into the schedule? Love this channel

My thoughts on the game were exactly the same as yours. I wanted to be Kratos! The game just ended up feeling like a slog for me. I much prefered the 2018 game over this one.

Bit of a downer episode. Gutted you didn't let the platinum. I suggest you return to it or play it on and off till you can get it, even if it's some years from now. However that was not the worse part of this video. That was how much you hated the story. My heart broke when you showed a quick scene of Faye and Kratos where she gives him the speach about love and greif and you just said "I don't care" 💔 It left me cold. Still onwards and upwards The Last Of Us awaitings.

Just finished the online trophies and I honestly think they would be better off being dlc trophies and not on the main trophy list bc I don’t like online trophies bc it takes a long time to finish and doc is more suitable

You might already know this Adam, but I'll mention it just in case, there was supposed to be a GOW Norse trilogy, but that would've taken them 15 years in total, and they didn't want that, so Ragnarok leans really heavily on cutscenes/story to make up for what would've been a 3rd game. I feel your pain with this game, as I've had a few glitches of my own, although not as bad yours. I enjoyed 2018 more. GOW 2018 (10/10) Ranarok (9/10) Highly recommend the DLC 'Valhalla'.

I do respect your opinion but I do heavily disagree. Not everything needs to be about Kratos. Maybe I only feel like this because I didn’t play the original trilogy so I don’t have as much of a connection with him as others do, but imo I feel like it’s ok to focus on other characters besides Kratos especially if they want to do a only arteus game in the future. It does suck you weren’t able to get it the platinum that really sucks. I am glad it didn’t bug for me cause when I got platinum I did it before you could skip cutscenes so it would have really sucked if that happened.
